Dear Friends:

So, it turns out that my desire to write doesn’t always extend to newsletters. That being said, I thought you were long overdue for an update from me on what’s going on in my world and what’s coming next.

Branding Refresh

While not a full overhaul, I recently updated some of my brand elements to match the look and feel of my books and my identity as an author. It’s a little darker, a little moodier, and I’m completely in love with it.

The Girl Behind the Iron Gate

First, you may have noticed a slight update to the cover. As my graphics skills continue to grow, I revisited my original cover illustration, redrawing some elements and opting for an overall darker, slightly less gritty look to better align with my refreshed branding.

Second, in order to make TGBTIG more accessible to readers, I have updated the print copies to be slightly smaller and, therefore, less expensive. While it hurts my format-loving soul to make the interior a bit tighter, my hope is that more readers will be able to purchase their own hard copy should they wish to.

Finally, I am exploring special editions and audiobook options. Look out for updates as more details unfold.
